PostHeaderIcon How to brush the proper way

We all know that we should brush at least twice daily to keep our teeth strong, healthy and free of decay. Still are you having trouble with your teeth and becoming a victim of plaque, decay and bad breath?  Maybe you do not know the right technique which should be followed when we brush.

If you are clueless about this, do not worry. Here are a few simple instructions which you can follow while you brush your teeth:-

1) Use a soft bristled brush.

2) Wet your toothbrush and spread a pea-sized amount of toothpaste on it.

3) Hold the tooth brush slanted an angle of 45 degrees to your gums. Clean your upper teeth or maxillary first. Start from the frontal portion and then go backwards. Clean 3 teeth at a time.

4) Clean the chewing surfaces or the visible surfaces first. Then go for the inner portions. If your brush is too large and you are finding it difficult to brush at a 45 degree angle, brush vertically.

5) Repeat the process in every arch of your jaw till you reach the end. Now follow the same course on your lower jaw.

6) Brush along your gums gently to get rid of any trapped food particles.

7) Change your brush every 3 months.
